Publications of the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer (Deutsche Universität für Verwaltungswissenschaften Speyer) and the German Research Institute for Public Administration Speyer (Deutsches Forschungsinstitut für öffentliche Verwaltung Speyer - FÖV)

Scientific documents such as working papers, theses, conference speeches and journal articles as well as entire books (ebooks) are published in electronic form on the Speyer document and publication server (DoPuS) of the university and research institute. The documents are accessed and made available via the library catalogue and internet search engines. DoPuS also offers a directory for publications of (former) scientists at both establishments.
 Search
A simple search and an advanced search function are provided for research under the "Search" menu item. The search is preset so that both the metadata and the full texts of all datasets are searched in the case of a simple search. If you only want to search in the full texts, please click the advanced search function under the search field.
 Browse
You have the opportunity to browse through the publications of individual chairs, for example, or by specific types of documents and fields (DDC classification) under the "Browse" menu item.
 Publish
The "Publish" menu item lets you, as a member of the university or the institute, publish your electronic documents and enter the bibliographic information for your publications. To do this, you will need password-protected access to publication pages that you receive in your library. The works or data you provide are placed at the disposal of the public worldwide free of charge.
 Research Instructions
If you run a Simple search, multiple search terms are automatically linked together with and. For a targeted search, it is recommended that you use Boolean operators to link multiple search terms to each other.
AND: All the entered search words must be included in the document.
OR: Only one of the entered search terms must appear in the document. This function expands the range of the search and is good if there are different descriptions on a subject.
NOT: This function has an excluding impact and can be used in order to limit the quantity of hits. It is perfect for documents in which one search term should appear, but not the other.
