The research focus of the chair is on international comparative policy analysis, especially in the field of sustainability research. Applying theories from public policy and policy process research, the team investigates the specific problem structures and interdependencies of environmental, agricultural and climate policy as well as the use and effects of different policy instruments. These foci are also reflected in Colette Vogeler's teaching, which can be viewed here.
