Chair holder

Heiko Richter is a University Professor (W3) and holder of the Chair of Private Law and Regulation of the Digital Economy and Society at the DUV since October 1, 2025. Previously he was: 2020–2025 Senior Research Fellow (permanent position) at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich; 2020–2024 lecturer in private law at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich; 2014–2020 Doctoral Candidate and Junior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich; 2009–2012 Research Assistant to Prof. Dr. Gregor Bachmann, LL.M. (Michigan) at Free University of Berlin; 2003–2006 Teaching Assistant to Prof. Dr. Eike Ullmann at the University of Mannheim.
