History
The building that now houses the Centre of Digital Government was originally called the WITI Innovation Lab and was constructed as part of the Knowledge and Idea Transfer for Innovation in Administration (WITI) project. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in 2019, and the first workshop was held in the new building in 2020. With the WITI project coming to an end in 2022, a new use for the building was sought. This was found in the Chair of Digital Government and Information Technology and the eGov Campus, which moved into the building in 2024.
